My Faith is in Him...

It's been a couple weeks since I last blogged so hmmm, let me think...well, on Fridays last month I was going to church to clean for a couple of hours and I really enjoyed it. Nansi, Yvette, Mary and I make a great team!! I really get a feel of satisfaction when I go clean at church, don't know why, but I guess with the little bit I could do for the Lord the better we feel.
I found an old friend on Facebook whom I hadn't seen since High School and we have been messaging back and forth about each others lives and she became a missionary, wow! I met her in our morning prayer groups we would have in school and developed a friendship. I was very intrigued with her story, she met a guy from New Zealand and is living there. And well that just makes me think of how great it is to serve the Lord in what you can...of course being a missionary must be soooo much more rewarding, but I think it is serving the Lord just as in cleaning the church. Any ways, we are still practicing like crazy for Easter in choir and that takes up lots of my mind, during the day, that and my Solo Chicas club class aka Y's. I love them also. The class is so fulfilling and fun and I feel like I am learning as we go with the girls...and as for the girls, well, they are all great, couldn't ask for a better group :)

One other thing that has been keeping me from blogging is a little situation we have going with our Trucking company...besides being stressed with the end of yr paperwork and irs Taxes coming up in um..let me see, yes 14 days!! We have another little issue that has me on my knees. You see Hector was at an intersection about to turn right, in the right lane...in the semi. He turns right when the light turns green...then comes to a screeching stop because he sees in his rear view mirror a car on the right side, under his trailer!!! Well, nothing happened to the trailer or the lady driving the car, thank God. But we didn't even call our insurance because nothing happened to the trailer and well it was obvious that it was her fault because she was turning from the shoulder, which was not even a lane, right?! Well, we got a call from our insurance last week saying that her "lawyer" came in contact with our truck insurance and wants them to pay her for her damages to her car!!! The nerve! So I go look at the police report and yep, the cop says that Hector made the wrong turn!! So unfair, I calmly talked to the officer and his supervisor and asked them how Hector was at fault, and they said by law he has to get as far right as possible, wow, I said, he was as far right as possible for a commercial vehicle to turn! But he just said, the law is the law and wouldn't change the report. So now we have to get our insurance involved and it just all stinks, hate all this stuff...please pray for us, we are going through a rough time with this and also because I've been asking God to help us get a new truck soon. Don't know how that's going to happen, but my faith is in the Lord and I know He will provide for his children.
